Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>An 11th Grade student who made egg sandwiches laced with cannabis [suruma] and sold them to his schoolmates at the Armando Emi\u0301lio Guebuza Community School has been arrested.<\/p>\n

Miramar reports that the student \u2013 whose age is not mentioned in the piece \u2013 is currently imprisoned and has acknowledged his actions and expressed remorse, apologised.<\/p>\n

He made the sandwiches at home and sold them to fellow pupils at the Maputo school where he attends the 11th Grade.<\/p>\n

The scholar says he first made and ate the sandwiches only at home, but his lively demeanour aroused the curiosity of his colleagues, and the business started.<\/p>\n

The police say that this is not a new phenomenon. Drug consumption in schools has been condemned, but students are always looking for new ways to circumvent the prohibition.<\/p>\n
