Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Six new permanent secretaries took office on Friday in an equal number of ministries, in a ceremony led by Prime Minister Adriano Maleiane, who demanded that they ensure compliance with the government\u2019s programme.<\/p>\n

These are Artur Dombo (Ministry of Education and Human Development), Ivan Manhic\u0327a (Health), Da\u0301rcia Nhancale (Agriculture and Rural Development), Ambro\u0301sio Sitoe (Transport and Communications), Anto\u0301nio Manda (Mineral Resources and Energy) and Justino Tonela, (Ministry of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs).<\/p>\n

Maleiane instructed the new appointees to ensure good articulation and coordination with the ministers who run the sectors to which they were being assigned, as well as to promote a healthy work environment with state officials and agents from all organic units, including tutored and subordinate institutions.<\/p>\n

In addition, the prime minister urged strict observance of internal control procedures and the principles of transparency and accountability, which should be guided by, among other aspects, speed in the processing of administrative acts relating to promotions, progressions and career changes.<\/p>\n
