Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The presentation of candidacies of political parties, political party coalitions and civil society organisations intending to run for the 6th municipal elections of October 11, 2023, begins on Monday, June 26 and ends on Friday, July 14.<\/p>\n

The information was released to the press this morning by the spokesperson for the National Elections Commission, Paulo Cuinica.<\/p>\n

Cuinica highlighted that political parties, political coalitions must present their candidacies to the National Elections Commission (CNE), while civil society organisations will do so in the Provincial Election Commissions, by July 4th.<\/p>\n

After this, there will be a period for checking the compliance of the documentation submitted.<\/p>\n

The CNE held a meeting with representatives of political parties, coalitions of political parties and civil society organisations in Maputo this morning, to make known the procedures to be followed in relation to the registration of candidates competing in the 6th round of municipal elections.<\/p>\n

According to the electoral calendar, registration will run from the 26th of June until the 14th of July, during which time the nominees of the candidates \u2018mandata\u0301rios\u2019 will be indicated for their accreditation.<\/p>\n
