Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Ten small Mozambican agri-processing companies have since Sunday been participating in the \u2018Africa\u2019s Big 7\u2019 food and beverage trade fair in Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.<\/p>\n

The fair is Africa\u2019s largest annual food and beverage event, and brings together exhibitors and potential buyers from the food and beverage retail industry on the continent and beyond.<\/p>\n

One hundred and forty exhibitors from 37 countries, including Mozambique, China, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates, are participating in the event, which ends this Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The presence of the Mozambican business mission was coordinated by the Institute for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Companies (IPEME), Radio Mozambique reports.<\/p>\n

The director of IPEME\u2019s central financial assistance and business promotion services, Madina Ismail, explains that Mozambique\u2019s participation in the fair is in line with the project to promote micro, small and medium-sized companies managed by women in the provinces of Nampula, Manica, Inhambane and Maputo.<\/p>\n

Africa\u2019s Big 7 Trade Show is in its 19th edition, with Mozambique participating this year for the first time.<\/p>\n
