Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Minister of National Defence Cristo\u0301va\u0303o Chume says that the leaders and masterminds of the terrorism in Cabo Delgado are part of international syndicates dedicated to violent crime.<\/p>\n

Minister Chume acknowledges that this connection between terrorists and international criminal syndicates makes it difficult to identify the actual motivation for attacks.<\/p>\n

The Minister of National Defence on Monday visited Moci\u0301mboa da Praia and Palma districts to assess the level of security, reporting that it was under control there.<\/p>\n

According to the minister, the district of Macomia now needs to reinforce security in response to local terrorist outbreaks.<\/p>\n

Speaking in Pemba on Monday, Cristo\u0301va\u0303o Chume reiterated that the government would continue to build better security solutions in response to developing terrorist activity.<\/p>\n

Minister Chume said that everything was being done to ensure that the events leading to the attacks in Moci\u0301mboa da Praia and Palma did not recur.<\/p>\n
