Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Jearrard Energy Resources and its subsidiaries have announced their plans to construct a 12-gigawatt peak solar-to-hydrogen facility in Mozambique. Once operational, the facility is expected to produce 4,000 tonnes of hydrogen, helping to meet increasing demand for green energy. The company\u2019s operational director, Johann Kamp, revealed that similar projects are also in the works for the South African market. Importantly, the South Africa\u2019s facility is planned to start in the third quarter of 2024.<\/p>\n

Kamp explained that these projects would involve setting up solar plants equipped with electrolysers to produce hydrogen. Importantly, this would not only foster manufacturing of hydrogen in South Africa but also grow the country\u2019s economy. Additionally, growth will be achieved through taxes generated from its production.<\/p>\n

Jearrard Energy Resources plan to actualize the project in the first quarter of next year. Importantly, construction of 12-gigawatt peak solar-to-hydrogen facility in Mozambique marks a significant step in advancing the use of green energy. Additionally, by harnessing the power of solar energy, a substantial amount of hydrogen will be produced. Therefore, the hydrogen will provide an eco-friendly alternative to traditional energy sources.<\/p>\n

With rise in demand for green energy, initiatives like this will play crucial role in meeting the world\u2019s energy needs.
