\u201cIt is with deep sadness that the Board of AMKKSI, Senseis and Athletes learned of the death of Sensei Jeronimo Quizito Chico, which occurred on Thursday, the 10th of August, in the district of Gile\u0301, province of Zambe\u0301zia, his birthplace.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the entire Jyoshinmon family.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe encourage Sensei, athletes and the entire Karate family to continue to tread the paths and teachings left by Sensei Quizito.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe express our gratitude for Sensi Quizito\u2019s contribution and dedication to Karate-Do in Mozambique.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe funeral ceremonies will take place on the 13th of August, Sunday, in the province of Zambe\u0301zia.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, his students have announced: \u201cIn honor of this great man, whom karate, martial arts and sport in general lost, we will be meeting today, August 11th, at 6:30 pm, at the EDM Karate Dojo, to observe a moment of silence in memory of Mestre Quizito\u201d.<\/p>\n
