Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The President of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, today appointed Pascoal Ronda, former Commander General of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique, to the position of Minister of the Interior, the Presidency said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Pascoal Ronda will replace Arse\u0301nia Massingue, who was dismissed today, says the Mozambican Presidency document, without providing further details.<\/p>\n

Arse\u0301nia Felicidade Fe\u0301lix Massinguehad held the position since November 2021.<\/p>\n

Pascoal Pedro Joa\u0303o Ronda, Inspector General in the reserve since 2004, commanded the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) between 1995 and 2001 \u2013 during the government led by Joaquim Chissano \u2013 and is currently a professor at the Academy of Police Sciences (ACIPOL)<\/p>\n
