Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Renamo and MDM parties in Tete called a press conference this Thursday to express their concern about alleged fraud at polling stations in the local elections held on October 11th.<\/p>\n

Both Renamo and the MDM say they will not recognize the results and accuse the electoral bodies of manipulation.<\/p>\n

Renamo also confirmed the arrest of two of its members this Thursday, when they, together with other party supporters, went to the STAE electoral authorities in Moatize to protest against alleged fraud in the electoral process.<\/p>\n

The plice promptly arrived at the scene to restore order. The two Renamo members were released three hours after their arrest.<\/p>\n
