Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>At least 13 people died and 10 were injured in a road accident in Alto Ligonha, Zambe\u0301zia province, central Mozambique, on Saturday \u2013 the second of this severity in the country in about a month.<\/p>\n

According to health authorities, three women, seven men and three children died at the scene of the accident on National Highway Number 1 (N1) in Gile\u0301 district, while the injured were transported to the Nampula Central Hospital and Alto Molo\u0301cue District Hospital.<\/p>\n

The cause of the accident was a tire bursting on a passenger minibus, which then crashed and overturned.<\/p>\n

In Chimoio, Manica, four people died and nine were injured this Sunday in a road accident on their way to worship.<\/p>\n

On September 7 of this year, 20 people were burned to death when an overloaded passenger transport vehicle collided with a cargo truck and overturned in Barue\u0301, Manica province, central Mozambique.<\/p>\n
