Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Council of Ministers, which met this Tuesday, called the press to announce the decisions taken during the meeting, which include the dismissal of the chairman of the board of Center for the Development of Financial Information Systems (CEDSIF ,Hermi\u0301nio Enoque Paulo Sueia, and the appointment of Manuel Anto\u0301nio dos Santos to the position.<\/p>\n

Another measure announced by the spokesperson for the Cabinet meeting Filima\u0303o Suazi regards the Beira \u2013 Zimbabwe fuel pipeline. At the Council of Ministers meeting , it has been decided that the Mozambique-Zimbabwe Pipeline Company [CPMZ<\/b>] is no longer the concessionaire of the Beira-Zimbabwe pipeline, which has been continuously in operation for over 41 years (since 1982).<\/p>\n

The Council of Ministers this Tuesday \u201capproved the Decree which revokes Decree 1\/84 of 22 February, which grants the Beira \u2013 Zimbabwe fuel pipeline exploitation project \u201d Swaze said. \u201cThe Decree revokes the concession to the Companhia do Pipeline Moc\u0327ambique -Zimbabwe [CPMZ] for the exploitation of the Beira \u2013 Zimbabwe fuel pipeline and respective benefits: allowing the stability of ongoing investments, it attributes powers to the ministers who oversee the areas of Finance, Mineral Resources and Energy and of Transports and Communications to approve the necessary mechanisms to ensure the continuity of the exploitation of the Beira \u2013 Zimbabwe fuel pipeline, without prejudice to the competences of other bodies,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Another decision of this session was the classification of the Maputo Central Market as a category B cultural heritage building, the Casa de Ferro as a category A cultural heritage building,<\/p>\n
