Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>A modern, new cold storage logistics centre with capacity to store 2,500 tons of frozen or chilled products in bulk, or 1,200 pallets, was inaugurated in Maputo on Friday, November 3rd.<\/p>\n

Located next to the port of Maputo, the facility was built by Afrigotel Armazenagem Frigori\u0301fica, S.A., a Mozambican company specialising in refrigerated logistics. Its first platform, in Zimpeto, started operating in 2016.<\/p>\n

Afrigotel provides cold chain logistics solutions including storage, picking, shipping, stock management and expiry control services, with cold storage rooms for both frozen and chilled products.<\/p>\n

This expansion gives Afrigotel total storage capacity of 6,000 tons, positioning it as a leader in Mozambique\u2019s food preservation marketplace.<\/p>\n
