Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Constitutional Council announced this Friday the results of the sixth local elections, held on October 11th<\/p>\n

According to the proclamation of the Constitutional Council this Friday, Frelimo won the elections in 56 municipalities.<\/p>\n

Renamo was declared the winner in Chiu\u0301re, Quelimane, Alto-Molo\u0301que\u0300 and Vilanculos, and MDM in Beira.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Constitutional Council did not validate the local elections in Marromeu municipality. and partially annulled the results in some polling stations in three municipalities; Nacala Porto, Milange and Gurue.<\/p>\n

The results in the four aforementioned municipalities will presumably be announced at a later stage.<\/p>\n
