It will use pylons with a horizontal conductor configuration and a power transmission capacity of 2,300 megawatts (MW),\u201d said information from the AfDB consulted by Lusa.<\/p>\n<p>According to Ce\u0301sar Mba Abogo, the AfDB\u2019s resident representative in Mozambique, the project \u201cis part of a wider effort to modernise the network to allow for the installation and sale of additional production capacity and, in this way, contribute to Mozambique\u2019s affirmation as an emerging energy hub in the region\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis project will improve the quality of supply in the central and northern regions, where most of Mozambique\u2019s population is concentrated, thus contributing to the country\u2019s development.
