Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The owners of 196 of vehicles circulating in Cho\u0301kwe\u0300 district, Gaza province, with foreign registration plates \u2013 and consequently without paying duties and other customs taxes due to the state \u2013 have been fined by the Tax Authority (AT), resulting in payments to the state of 8,852,013 meticais.<\/p>\n

The 196 vehicles so far sanctioned are on a list of 359 identified in the province of Gaza during the period under analysis, according to AT delegate, Estrela Cossa.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a press conference reporting on activities carried out over the period January to December 20, 2023, Cossa said that the institution had so far raised 1,484,704,452 meticais of a target of 1,641,427,657 meticais initially foreseen, corresponding to an execution of the annual plan in the order of 90.45%.<\/p>\n
