Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>France aims to enhance cooperation with Mozambique in the areas of science, technology, and higher education.<\/p>\n

This intention was expressed on Tuesday in Maputo by the Cooperation and Cultural Action Counselor at the French Embassy in Mozambique.<\/p>\n

Speaking in an interview with Radio Mozambique, Laurent Perez-Vidal stated that the initiative aims to facilitate the acquisition of scholarships for higher education students in the country.<\/p>\n

The diplomat also mentioned that there is currently a dialogue between the French Embassy and the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Higher Education to negotiate agreements for this purpose.<\/p>\n

The Cooperation and Cultural Action Counselor at the French Embassy in Mozambique made these remarks in the context of the upcoming fair named \u2018Studying in France,\u2019 starting tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Laurent Perez-Vidal mentioned that the event will address, among other things, the perspectives and challenges of internationalizing higher education in the country.<\/p>\n

Currently, the Global Program for Education and Human Rights, with the support of the French Embassy, is disbursing $107 million for the development of the education sector in Mozambique.<\/p>\n
