Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The government will go to Parliament this Wednesday and Thursday to respond to questions posed by parliamentary groups regarding the political, economic, and social situation of the country.<\/p>\n

The rules of the Assembly of the Republic stipulate that during the government\u2019s question time, parliamentary groups may ask fifteen questions to the executive, with each of the three parliamentary groups allotted five questions.<\/p>\n

The parliamentary groups have raised questions concerning road rehabilitation, career changes in the civil service, and the impact of the rainfall that has been occurring throughout the country.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson for the Frelimo parliamentary group, Feliz Silvia, stated that their group wants to know what strategies are in place to address the impacts of climate change, which have been affecting the country.<\/p>\n

The Renamo parliamentary group expressed concern about the cost of living for Mozambican families.<\/p>\n

Their spokesperson, Arnaldo Chalaua, hopes the government will address measures to control the rising prices of essential goods.<\/p>\n

As for the MDM parliamentary group, according to their spokesperson, Fernando Bismarque, they want the government to explain the measures to reduce the impact of rainfall and provide assistance to flood victims.<\/p>\n
