Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) reports that a low pressure system has formed northeast of the Mozambique Channel, in the southwest Indian Ocean basin, with the potential to evolve to the Moderate Tropical Storm stage on May 2nd.<\/p>\n

Also according to INAM, the current projection indicates a high probability of this system approaching the north coast of Mozambique, affecting the provinces of Cabo Delgado and Nampula with moderate, locally strong rains, strong gusty winds and severe thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

INAM, therefore, urges the public to continue monitoring meteorological information and warnings issued by the authorities.<\/p>\n
