Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Communities in Massangena district, northern Gaza province, have been alarmed by large herds of buffaloes passing through residential areas and pastures in recent days.<\/p>\n

The situation also worries authorities, who say that the presence of the buffaloes endangers residents\u2019 lives, and can also spread diseases that affect cattle.<\/p>\n

According to the District Administrator of Massangena, the buffaloes have destroyed more than 300 hectares of crops so far.<\/p>\n
