Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>MozParks\u2019 General Manager, Onorio Manuel, joined the Mozambican Business Delegation as a speaker at the 16th U.S.-Africa Business Summit in Dallas, Texas, from May 6-9. This marked Manuel\u2019s first appearance at such an event since his recent election as president of the Chamber of Commerce Mozambique \u2013 USA (CCMUSA).<\/p>\n

The summit, which gathered over 1,500 public and private sector executives, Heads of State, international investors, government officials, and multilateral stakeholders, focused on promoting economic partnerships between the U.S. and African countries.<\/p>\n

Organised and led by the Mozambican Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APIEX) and CCMUSA, the Mozambican Business Delegation comprised business leaders from various sectors. During the summit, Manuel highlighted Mozambique\u2019s investment and business potential, emphasising MozParks\u2019 commitment to promoting economic growth and development in the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a great honour to represent Mozambique and MozParks at such a prestigious event,\u201d said Manuel. \u201cWe believe that Mozambique offers incredible opportunities for investors, and we are committed to showcasing these opportunities to a global audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next week, MozParks will participate in the Africa CEO Forum in Kigali, Rwanda, as part of its ongoing mission to promote Mozambique as an attractive investment destination.<\/p>\n

MozParks is a developer and operator of Sustainable Economic Zones and is a public-private partnership between the Mozambican Government Agency for Investment and Export Promotion (APIEX), and Swiss-Mozambican investors. MozParks is the only industrial park operator in Mozambique, with parks in Beluluane and Nampula and expansion plans in Cabo Delgado province. MozParks has already attracted over 50 companies from 18 countries, and over USD 3 billion in investments in Beluluane Industrial Park in Maputo Province.<\/p>\n
