Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Mozambican Defence Forces and their allies captured four Islamist terrorists, on Tuesday, on the outskirts of Moci\u0301mboa da Praia town, in the northern Mozambican province of Cabo Delgado.<\/p>\n

According to Friday\u2019s issue of the independent newsheet \u201cCarta de Moc\u0327ambique\u201d, the capture of these terrorists counted on the help of Rwandan soldiers.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn Tuesday, we captured four terrorists. They are in the custody of Rwandan soldiers,\u201d a military officer said.<\/p>\n

According to the source, the four terrorists were on a reconnaissance mission aimed at studying the area where they should attack later.<\/p>\n

\u201cActually, they wanted to get into the town, but it\u2019s difficult because the security circuit is strong\u201d, he said. \u201cThis isn\u2019t the first time they\u2019ve tried to enter the area, but they\u2019ve been captured. Their intention is to enter the town again, but they won\u2019t succeed\u201d.<\/p>\n

According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), last April, just in the districts of Chiu\u0301re and Ancuabe, the extreme violence carried out by Islamist terrorists forced the displacement of 19,208 people.<\/p>\n

The IOM says that between 17 and 26 April, 16,366 displaced people were recorded in Chiu\u0301re district. Most of the people affected by this wave of terrorism moved to the district capital, Chiure town.<\/p>\n
