Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The president of South Korea, Yoon Suk-yeol, on Monday conveyed to his Mozambican counterpart his interest in sharing experiences in the areas of education, health and agriculture, said Filipe Nyusi, who is visiting the Asian country.<\/p>\n

\u2018It was a cordial meeting, where the results are promising, as President Suk-yeol showed openness to passing on his country\u2019s experience to Mozambique in the context of investment in the crucial areas that have leveraged development, namely education, health and agriculture,\u2019 Nyusi said in a message on his official Facebook account.<\/p>\n

Mozambique\u2019s head of state met in Seoul with his counterpart from the Republic of Korea as part of his working visit to the country, invited to the Korea-Africa Summit.<\/p>\n

\u2018We agreed to strengthen our cooperation for the mutual benefit of our countries and peoples,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

On this visit, which began on Sunday, Mozambique\u2019s president has met with the boards of South Korean giants Daewoo and Samsung.<\/p>\n

The Korea-Africa summit will be attended by other heads of state and government from the African continent, representatives of multilateral organisations and chief executives of Korean and African companies.<\/p>\n

The summit, which will take place from Tuesday to Wednesday, will be titled \u2018The Future We Make Together: Shared Growth, Sustainability, and Solidarity\u2019.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Mozambican head of state, who is visiting South Korea at the invitation of his counterpart Yoon Suk-Yeol, will also take part in the Korea-Africa business forum.<\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the summit, in addition to the bilateral meeting with his counterpart from the Republic of Korea, the President of Mozambique will have meetings \u2018with chief executives of South Korean companies and with the Mozambican community living in the Republic of Korea\u2019, according to the Mozambican Presidency.<\/p>\n
