Africa-Press<\/a> – Mozambique<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>More than 220 families living in Inhambane, Gaza and Maputo provinces on the route of the power transmission line from the Temane plant to Maputo are to be resettled.<\/p>\n

Construction of the Temane plant in Inhassoro, Inhambane province, begins in the first quarter of 2022, hence the process of resettlement of the families and payment of compensation to ensure compliance with the schedule.<\/p>\n

About 400 million meticais [around US$6.2 million at current exchange rates] is available for resettlement and payment of compensation to families displaced by the construction of the 450KV power plant in Temane and the power line to Maputo.<\/p>\n

The director of the Temane power line construction project, Adriano Jonas, says that the resettlement process, which complies with all the criteria defined by law, has already started in Inhassoro district.<\/p>\n

Azarias Muabsa, one of the beneficiaries to receive a house in Mangungumete, Inhassoro district, this Friday, professed himself a happy man.<\/p>\n

\u201cI chose to live here in Mngungumete for better access to schools and hospitals, so I am very satisfied with the house I received,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mais de duzentas e vinte fam\u00edlias ser\u00e3o reassentadas nas prov\u00edncias de Inhambane, Gaza e Maputo abrangidas pelo tra\u00e7ado da linha de transporte de energia a partir da central de Temane para Maputo.<\/b><\/p>\n

As obras de constru\u00e7\u00e3o da central de Temane em Inhassoro na Prov\u00edncia de Inhambane, iniciam no primeiro trimestre de 2022, da\u00ed que para assegura o cumprimento do cronograma desenhado decorre o processo de reassentamento das fam\u00edlias e do pagamento das compensa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/b><\/p>\n

Cerca de quatrocentos milh\u00f5es de meticais \u00e9 o valor dispon\u00edvel para o reassentamento e pagamento das compensa\u00e7\u00f5es das fam\u00edlias.<\/b><\/p>\n

O director do projecto de constru\u00e7\u00e3o da linha Temane\/Maputo, Adriano Jonas, diz que o processo de reassentamento j\u00e1 iniciou no distrito de Inhassoro e observa todos crit\u00e9rios definidos por lei.<\/b><\/p>\n
