Africa-Press<\/a> – Mozambique<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>The price of liquid fuels may rise in the coming days due to the rising trend in product costs in the international market.<\/p>\n

According to the Mozambican Petroleum Importing Agency (IMOPETRO), the price of Brent crude, which abroad is currently around US$76 per barrel, could reach US$80 by the end of the month.<\/p>\n

IMOPETRO notes that the demand for fuel fell globally with the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, prices slumping to around US$55 to US$60 per barrel.<\/p>\n

The recovery of world economies following on from the easing of restrictions has however increased demand for fuel in the international market in the last three months, with a concomitant rebound in prices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
