Africa-Press<\/a> – Mozambique<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>05 10 2021 \u2013 Today, the CFAO Group announced the takeover of Toyota and Hino\u2019s distribution activities in Mozambique, previously distributed by the Entreposto group. Mozambique is now the 39th country where the Group has operations.<\/p>\n

By setting up shop in Mozambique after taking over the distribution of Toyota in Madagascar in 2019, the CFAO Group marks an important milestone in its development and strengthening its position as a strategic partner on the African continent. CFAO thus confirms its position as a pan-African distributor of the Toyota brand.<\/p>\n

Mozambique is a promising market for the Group, which will have an extensive distribution network at its disposal. Indeed, in addition to Toyota and Hino, the Group would like to quickly move on to Suzuki distribution in the country.<\/p>\n

The distribution of Toyota and Suzuki vehicles will be accompanied in the short term by the launch of related services such as the sale of replacement parts, automotive services and equipment, as well as an offering of pre-owned vehicles and the distribution of truck brands along with the Hino brand.<\/p>\n

Richard Bielle, CFAO Chairman and CEO, commented: \u201cThe CFAO Group is delighted to establish operations in Mozambique for the first time, confirming its multi-country, multi-business strategy as a partner of strong brands. The Mozambican market is, in fact, particularly promising and this first operation paves the way for the development of other Group activities in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

The automotive market is still promising and must be accompanied by benchmark groups with strong, stable brands.
