Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>A businessman was kidnapped this Saturday afternoon on Karl Max Avenue, in Maputo city.<\/p>\n

The owner of the \u2018Bazar Central\u2019 crockery store was snatched by four unidentified individuals who were transported in a light vehicle, according to witnesses at the scene.<\/p>\n

The victim was accompanied by his mother, who had to be taken to hospital.<\/p>\n

Witnesses told the press that they had attempted to help the victim, but were deterred by the gunshots fired by the kidnappers.<\/p>\n

Less than a month on, another kidnapping took place this year. The first one took place on Albert Luthuli Avenue, in Maputo city. The police have not yet commented on the matter.<\/p>\n
