Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Seven people from Nhamayabu\u00e9 village have died at the Zambezi river in Mutarara district, Tete province, since the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n

The victims were residents of the municipal village of Nhamayabu\u00e9, attacked by crocodiles while drawing water from the river for their daily requirements.<\/p>\n

Compared with the same period last year, human-wildlife conflict has seen a slight reduction \u2013 in the order of 5%.<\/p>\n

The Mutarara district administrator notes that the implementation of two water sources close to the riverside communities was underway, with the aim of reducing the incidence of fatal human-wildlife conflict.<\/p>\n
