Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>Ten alleged fishermen from the province of Cabo Delgado have been detained at the Police District Command in Inhassoro, in the north of Inhambane province, since last Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The individuals were intercepted in the coastal village of Mapanzene, in Maimelane.<\/p>\n

Carta has learned that the group was made up of nine men, three women and three children \u2013 some of whom were dedicated to fishing and the others to the sale of fish. They had set up two camps.<\/p>\n

According to Carta sources, the group was sent to the PRM District Command in Inhassoro, after a team comprising police, SERNIC (National Criminal Investigation Service), SISE (State Information and Security Service), Maritime Administration and District Service for Economic Activities (SDAE) personnel visited the camps.<\/p>\n

Those being held are: Abdala Ali Saide (born in the district of Palma); Mumino Chafim Momade (Palma); Issa Muemene Chela (Palma); Zamir Issa Chemuche (Palma); Omar Arlindo Calavete (Nampula); Muimede Sumail (Palma); Bacar Sumail Bacar (Pemba); Issa Abdala Muemede (Palma); Salimo Ali Saide (Palma) and Subira Issa (Palma).<\/p>\n
