Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The governor of Gaza, Margarida Mapandzene Chongo, has vehemently condemned an alarming increase in the number of suicides in the province.<\/p>\n

Figures from the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) indicate that, from January to date, the province has registered 45 cases, most of them teenagers and young people.<\/p>\n

Among the causes, the police indicate matters of passion, social differences and the high cost of living.<\/p>\n

The Head of the Executive Council of Gaza says that nothing justifies people taking their own lives, and advocates greater dialogue within families and among social groups.<\/p>\n
