Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Portuguese embassy in Maputo announced on Friday that two Lisbon \u2013 Maputo \u2013 Lisbon flights, operated by TAP, will take place in the coming days.<\/p>\n

The first flight will depart from Lisbon on Friday, December 3rd, arriving in Maputo on Saturday, December 4th, from where it will return to Lisbon the same day.<\/p>\n

The second connection leaves the Portuguese capital on Sunday, December 5th, landing in Maputo on Monday, the 6th, flying back to Lisbon the same day.<\/p>\n

\u201cSubsequently, additional flights of this nature will be organised, as needed,\u201d the embassy adds.<\/p>\n

The flights serve to support return home in both directions, after European Union member states decided to temporarily suspend air connections with seven countries in southern Africa, including Mozambique, following the identification of the Covid-19 Omicron variant in South Africa.<\/p>\n

Passengers with Portuguese nationality, holders of a residence permit in Portugal and EU nationals, nationals of Schengen Area states and their families will be allowed to board the Maputo \u2013 Lisbon flight.<\/p>\n

Third country nationals legally resident in an EU member state and in transit to their country of origin or legal residence will also be allowed to board, in addition to others deemed to fall into \u2018humanitarian situations\u2019.<\/p>\n

Reservations for the flights must be made directly with TAP, but the Consulate General of Portugal in Maputo as well as the Consulate General in Beira are available to anyone who has \u201cdifficulty making a reservation\u201d and has \u201cproven urgency in traveling, for serious health reasons, or for permanent departure from the country\u201d.<\/p>\n

On flights to Lisbon, all passengers, vaccinated or not, will have to present a negative result of an RT-PCR test or similar nucleic acid amplification (NAAT) test.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe test must be carried out within 72 hours of departure,\u201d the regulations stipulate. As an alternative, passengers can have \u201can antigen test (TRAg) up to 48 hours before departure\u201d.<\/p>\n

Exceptions to the mandatory submission of Covid-19 tests are holders of an EU Covid-19 digital certificate of recovery, valid for 180 days, as well as children under the age of 12 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cPassengers on flights originating in Mozambique and those who, regardless of origin, have been in Mozambique, South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia or Zimbabwe in the 14 days prior to their arrival in Portugal, must comply with a period of 14-day prophylactic isolation on arrival, at home or in a place indicated by health authorities,\u201d adds the embassy.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival in Portugal, all passengers will be forwarded to \u201ca location inside the airport for the purpose of carrying out a new nucleic acid amplification test (TAAN) or rapid antigen test (TRAg), to screen for SARS-CoV-2 and subsequent genomic sequencing, as well as for determination of prophylactic isolation by health authorities,\u201d the embassy communique concludes.<\/p>\n

A embaixada de Portugal em Maputo anunciou hoje (30 de Novembro 2021)que ser\u00e3o realizados dois voos de apoio ao regresso no trajeto Lisboa \u2013 Maputo \u2013 Lisboa, operados pela TAP.<\/b><\/p>\n

O primeiro voo partir\u00e1 de Lisboa no dia 03 de dezembro, sexta-feira, chegando no s\u00e1bado a Maputo, de onde far\u00e1 a liga\u00e7\u00e3o a Lisboa nesse dia, 04 de dezembro.<\/b><\/p>\n

A segunda liga\u00e7\u00e3o sai da capital portuguesa em 05 de dezembro, domingo, aterrando em Maputo na segunda-feira, dia 06, voando nesse dia para Lisboa.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cSubsequentemente, ser\u00e3o organizados voos adicionais desta natureza, de acordo com as necessidades\u201d, acrescenta a embaixada.<\/b><\/p>\n

Os voos servem de apoio ao regresso nos dois sentidos, depois de os Estados-membros da Uni\u00e3o Europeia (UE) terem decidido suspender temporariamente liga\u00e7\u00f5es a\u00e9reas com sete pa\u00edses da \u00c1frica Austral, incluindo Mo\u00e7ambique, devido \u00e0 identifica\u00e7\u00e3o da variante \u00d3micron do v\u00edrus da covid-19, na \u00c1frica do Sul.<\/b><\/p>\n

Podem embarcar no voo Maputo \u2013 Lisboa passageiros com nacionalidade portuguesa, titulares de autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de resid\u00eancia em Portugal e cidad\u00e3os nacionais da UE, Estados associados ao Espa\u00e7o Schengen e membros das respetivas fam\u00edlias.<\/b><\/p>\n

Podem ainda embarcar nacionais de pa\u00edses terceiros com resid\u00eancia legal num Estado-membro da UE, em tr\u00e2nsito para o pa\u00eds de origem ou de resid\u00eancia legal, al\u00e9m de outros que se enquadrem em situa\u00e7\u00f5es humanit\u00e1rias.<\/b><\/p>\n

A reserva dever\u00e1 ser feita diretamente junto da TAP, mas o Consulado Geral de Portugal em Maputo bem como o Consulado Geral na Beira disponibilizam-se para contactos por parte de quem tenha \u201cdificuldade em efetuar a sua reserva\u201d e tenha \u201ccomprovada urg\u00eancia na desloca\u00e7\u00e3o, por motivos graves de sa\u00fade ou partida definitiva do pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n

Nos voos para Lisboa, todos os passageiros, vacinados ou n\u00e3o, ter\u00e3o de apresentar um resultado negativo de teste RT-PCR ou teste de amplifica\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1cidos nucleicos (NAAT) semelhante.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cO teste deve ser realizado at\u00e9 72 horas antes da partida\u201d, sendo que, como alternativa, os passageiros podem fazer \u201cum teste de ant\u00edgenio (TRAg) at\u00e9 48 horas antes da partida\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n

Gozam de exce\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0 obrigatoriedade de apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o de testes covid-19 os portadores de certificado digital covid-19 da UE de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o, v\u00e1lido por 180 dias, assim como crian\u00e7as com menos de 12 anos.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cOs passageiros dos voos com origem em Mo\u00e7ambique e os que, independentemente da origem, tiverem estado em Mo\u00e7ambique, \u00c1frica do Sul, Botsuana, Essuat\u00edni, Lesoto, Nam\u00edbia e Zimbabu\u00e9 nos 14 dias anteriores \u00e0 sua chegada a Portugal, devem cumprir um per\u00edodo de isolamento profil\u00e1tico de 14 dias \u00e0 chegada, no domic\u00edlio ou em local indicado pelas autoridades de sa\u00fade\u201d, acrescenta a embaixada.<\/b><\/p>\n
