Africa-Press – Mozambique. <\/strong><\/span>The Governor of Cabo Delgado, Valige Tauabo, announced in Pemba this Tuesday the seizure of a supposed fishing vessel in the area where the natural gas extraction platform is to be set up, in the district of Palma.<\/p>\n

Addressing the Provincial Assembly during its sixth ordinary session, Governor Tauabo explained that the vessel, which flies the Seychelles flag, is now being held in the port of Pemba while steps are taken to ascertain the crew\u2019s real intentions.<\/p>\n

In light of these events, Valige Tauabo asked the members of the Provincial Assembly, and the population of Cabo Delgado in general, to reinforce surveillance measures.<\/p>\n

Navio estranho apreendido na bacia do Rovuma<\/b><\/p>\n

O Governador de Cabo Delgado anunciou esta ter\u00e7a-feira, na cidade de Pemba, a apreens\u00e3o de um navio que se presume de pesca, na \u00e1rea onde ser\u00e1 montada a plataforma de explora\u00e7\u00e3o de g\u00e1s natural, no distrito de Palma.<\/b><\/p>\n

Valige Tauabo fez este an\u00fancio aos membros da Assembleia Provincial, no decurso da sexta sess\u00e3o ordin\u00e1ria daquele \u00f3rg\u00e3o fiscalizador da ac\u00e7\u00e3o governativa do Conselho Executivo Provincial.<\/b><\/p>\n

Explicou que o referido navio, que ostenta a bandeira das Ilhas Seychelles, encontra-se j\u00e1 no porto de Pemba, enquanto decorrem dilig\u00eancias para se apurar as reais inten\u00e7\u00f5es da tripula\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/b><\/p>\n

Face a esta realidade Valige Tauabo pediu aos membros da Assembleia Provincial e da popula\u00e7\u00e3o de Cabo Delgado, em geral, a refor\u00e7arem as medidas de vigil\u00e2ncia.<\/b><\/p>\n
