Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Namibian Police still have no leads on the suspects who murdered police officer constable Talamondjila Petrus (35).
Petrus’ body was discovered in a riverbed at Mariental last August. Namibian Police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi says the investigation into Petrus’ murder is still ongoing.
Now the police are requesting assistance from the public to track down his killer or killers, through the offer of a reward of N$20 000 for concrete information on the murder.
Petrus was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and blue shorts. It is believed he was murdered between 17 and 21 August, while on duty. Anyone with information is requested to contact inspector Gert Boois on 081 259 8664 or the nearest police. Any information received will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.
