Africa-Press – Namibia. THE second edition of the Cross Town Park tournament officially kicked off at Omuthiya in the Oshikoto Region on Friday. The tournament caters for soccer, netball, volleyball and Owela.
The event is held in celebration of the Easter long weekend and ends on Monday 18 April. Tournament organiser Sammy Mushelenga said they are developing the Namibian child to pave the way for participation on regional and national levels.
“We want to keep sport alive in the northern areas by assisting them with the skills they need,” he said.
