Windhoek resident arrested over dagga 'plantation'

Africa-Press – Namibia. A WINDHOEK resident has been arrested over a dagga ‘plantation’.

According to the police, the plantation of 5,5kg was discovered at Kleine Kuppe on Thursday.

It is valued at N$277 000, the police say.

The suspect has been charged with the planting of cannabis (skunk), dealing in cannabis, and racketeering.

He is detained at the Windhoek Police Station, and will appear in court on Tuesday.
