THE newly appointed regional commanders of the Namibian police for Oshikoto and Oshana paid a courtesy call on Omukwaniilwa Fillemon Shuumbwa Nangolo of the Ondonga Traditional Authority on Wednesday.
Commissioners Teopolina Kalompo-Nashikaku and Naftal Lungameni Sakaria were last month appointed as chief cops in Oshikoto and Oshana respectively.
Commissioner Sakaria succeeded Commissioner Rauha Amwele who went on retirement, having served as Oshana regional commander since 2015.
Commissioner Kalompo-Nashikaku took over from Commissioner Armas Shivute who occupied the top position since 2017.
