Africa-Press – Namibia. JAMES Milne Cindano and Immanuel Kooper of Crete Gymnastics Club will travel to Serbia to participate in the 13th Memorial ‘Laza Kristic and Maria Dzelatovic’ competition, which will be held in Novi Sad from 9 to 11 December.

It is the first time that the two gymnasts will compete at an international event abroad. Morihei Anderson will accompany the team as head coach, as well as Nadine Jaeger who is the head of delegation.

“Our goal for this competition is to not only allow them to gain exposure, but also to build up contacts to plan more international events in future,” said Petra Thornburn, owner of the Crete Gymnastics Club.

“We want to thank each and every person, company and the Namibia National Olympic Committee who continue to support the sport of gymnastics and our team – without you this wouldn’t be possible. We wish our team the best if luck, compete with pride and honour,” she added.
