Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism has temprarily halted access to Dune 7 in the Dorob National Park.Ministry spokesperson Romeo Muyunda said the popular tourist attraction will not be accessible between 3 and 15 December 2022.
“The closure of the recreational area is to allow the upgrade and renovation of ablution facilities and other tourism infrastructure in the area,” Muyunda said.
The closure will also allow the ministry to clean the area ahead of the expected festive season influx of people to the coast, he said.
