Africa-Press – Namibia. The Namibian Correctional Service’s recruitment process is still in progress with 15 867 applicants shortlisted for 200 positions.
NCS received 33 259 applications.
The shortlisted candidates will go through an assessment test in various regions from 18 to 27 January.
The NCS commissioner general Raphael Hamunyela on Friday said all candidates should take along their original identity document and certificate of conduct not older than six months.
“Age categories of 18-25 years should report on 18-19 January 2023, while those 26 years and above should report on 20-21 January 2023,” he said.
Hamunyela said all sports candidates are expected to report in Windhoek at the Independence Stadium on 20-21 January, same as all truck operators with CE driver’s licences.
“The brass live band candidates are also expected to report in Windhoek at Israel Patrick Iyambo Police College on 18-19 January 2023,” he said.
The assessment will start at 07h00 at different venues in each region.
