Africa-Press – Namibia. ROBERT Mugabe Avenue and Sam Nujoma Drive in Windhoek will be closed today.
The roads will be closed from 12h00 to 18h00 due to the official opening of parliament.
According to a public notice by the Windhoek City Police, parents of pupils schooling at St George’s and Windhoek High School are urged to pick their children up on time to avoid being locked out.
“Daniel Munamava Street, Fidel Castro Street, Love Street and Lindequist Street will all be closed. The public is therefore advised to make use of the following alternative routes: Mandume Ndemufayo Avenue, Nelson Mandela Avenue and Hosea Kutako Drive,” the notice reads.
