Africa-Press – Namibia. NAMIBIA Wildlife Resorts (NWR) announced the appointment of a new board of directors on Thursday.
NWR spokesperson Nelson Ashipala, in a media statement, said the board was elected on Monday and will be chaired by ambassador Haroldt /Urib, and Bianca Tjizumaue serving as deputy chairperson.
“Other members of the board include Coenraad Coetzee, Erling Kavita, Sam Januarie, Nadrie Lahner, and Yvette Nambahu,” Ashipala said.
Speaking at the event, NWR managing director Matthias Ngwangwama said the “new board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise and NWR is confident that they will provide excellent leadership and guidance to the company”.
“With their guidance, NWR will continue to grow and expand, offering world-class services and experiences to its customers,” Ngwangwama said.
During the event, /Urib, said he is looking forward to working with the NWR team to help grow the organisation’s business as an important player in the country’s tourism industry.
