Africa-Press – Namibia. A lot of Namibian sporting events are in store this weekend, ranging from football, cricket and rugby to boxing, futsal and tennis amongst others.
In football ,the Debmarine Namibia Premiership resumed with Rounds 22 and 23 throughout the country, while the FNB Women’s Super League as well as the Southern Stream First Division continues with matches at various centres.
The final matches of the Express Credit Futsal League will also take place at the Windhoek Showgrounds on Saturday.
The International Cricket World Cup Qualifying tournament continues with matches at the Wanderers and United fields in Windhoek, with the Namibian Eagles taking on UAE at the United field on Sunday, while the finals of the ITF Junior Tennis tournament will be held at the Central Tennis Courts on Saturday morning.
The Welwitschias play their first home game in the Mzansi Challenge against SWD Eagles at the Hage Geingob Stadium on Saturday, while the MTC Salute Boxing Academy will host a boxing bonanza at the Catholic Hospital Hall on Saturday evening.
