Africa-Press – Namibia. A severe storm broke large power poles and ripped them from the ground outside Keetmanshoop in the //Kharas region on Friday.
The south received heavy rains from Thursday that measured up to 50 millimetres at places such as Aroab and in the Karas mountains. At Keetmanshoop, two houses were damaged and power poles outside the town also bore the brunt of the storm. No power outages have been reported.
