Africa-Press – Namibia. The building of the Windhoek High Court and a building of the Ministry of Finance in Windhoek were broken into at an unknown time on Friday last week.
This is according to a weekend crime report released by the police.
The police reported that an unknown suspect entered the High Court building through a back window and entered an archive office which deals with record management.
The burglar took a computer unit which contains records of the High Court, the police reported. The computer is valued at about N$11 420.
No arrests or recoveries have been made and a police investigation is continuing.
On the same date, the Ministry of Finance’s Fiscus building in Windhoek was broken into and a computer unit and two computer monitors valued at N$24 500 disappeared.
A closed-circuit television recording showed the suspects gained entry to the building through a sliding window.
No recovery of the stolen goods has been made and a police investigation is continuing.
