Africa-Press – Namibia. NAMDEB is encouraging residents of Lüderitz to actively participate in the upcoming second phase of the Namdeb Socio-economic Baseline Study Household Surveys, scheduled to take place from 4 to 8 March 2024.
Namdeb has enlisted the expertise of SLR Consulting to conduct this baseline study on the socio-economic landscape of Lüderitz. The mine explained that this will be the second phase of the study, as the first phase was completed in November 2023.
“During this second phase, the SLR Consulting team, including local enumerators, will conduct household surveys from selected households,” Namdeb explained.
The mine revealed that participation in the survey will be voluntary, and households will be randomly selected. Namdeb specified that the survey will be conducted between 8:00 and 18:00 on the specified dates, and enumerators will be easily identifiable through Namdeb Information Cards and their national Identification Documents (IDs).
