Africa-Press – Namibia. President Nangolo Mbumba recently welcomed Luìsa Damiäo, Vice President of the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), for a courtesy visit. During their meeting, President Mbumba and Vice President Damiäo underscored the enduring historical and fraternal ties between Namibia and Angola, forged through the shared struggle for liberation.
Emphasising the need for economic autonomy, President Mbumba highlighted the importance of strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries. He expressed satisfaction at the two countries’ collaborations in the areas of economy, trade, and politics.
