Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), Nangula Nelulu Uaandja, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of the Ombalantu Traditional Authority, Chief Oswin Mukulu, in the Omusati Region.
“The visit formed part of a broader effort to strengthen ties between the NIPDB and traditional leadership structures, with the aim of fostering inclusive dialogue and cooperation in national development,” the NIPDB explained.

The Board revealed that, during the engagement, it outlined its mandate and discussed potential areas of partnership, including job creation, sector-specific development, and community-driven economic empowerment. The Board also highlighted the vital role of local knowledge and leadership in achieving sustainable development goals.
“The NIPDB has been conducting key stakeholder engagements with Traditional Authorities, business communities, MSMEs, and the youth in the Ohangwena, Oshana, Oshikoto, and Omusati regions,” the NIPDB added.
