Africa-Press – Namibia. Former defence minister Charles Namoloh is recovering slowly in hospital, the Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs has confirmed.
“Honourable major general (retired) Namoloh is recovering slowly. Let’s keep him in our prayers,” ministry spokesperson Petrus Shilumbu said on Saturday.
Namoloh’s son, Nyerere, on Friday said the Namoloh family is not ready to share further details regarding his condition at this stage.
“Kindly take note that as a family, we prefer privacy for now,” he said.
Last week, the ministry in a media statement announced that Namoloh, one of the senior commanders of the Namibia’s liberation struggle, had been hospitalised.
