New Executive Director of Prime Minister's Bureau Announced

Africa-Press – Namibia. Secretary to Cabinet Emilia Mkusa has announced the appointment of Shivute Indongo as the executive director of the prime minister’s bureau in the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM).

Indongo will serve for a period of two years and eight months, effective 1 August, Mkusa says in a statement on Thursday.

Indongo has served as OPM deputy executive director since 2015, and is the former director general for services in the gender equality ministry. He holds a master’s degree in public administration and a diploma in public management.

Mkusa also announced that Tuyakula Haipinge, the current executive director of the prime minister’s bureau, has been transferred to the OPM’s department of public service management as the executive director, also effective 1 August. Haipinge will serve out the remainder of her contract.
