Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Minister of Works and Transport, Veikko Nekundi, has officially appointed new members to serve on the Engineering Council of Namibia (ECN) for the next four years.

This follows Nekundi’s decision to dissolve the previous council earlier this year, citing the members’ alleged failure to report on their achievements since taking office in 2022. The dismissal was challenged by the ECN’s former president, Sophia Belete-Tekie; however, the minister upheld his decision to disband the council.
