Africa-Press – Namibia. LETSHEGO Namibia has given its employees until 31 January to get vaccinated against Covid-19 or face being banned from the workplace.

“Employees who are not vaccinated will not be allowed to enter the premises in the interest of maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, and should as a result strictly

work from home with limited support,” Letshego chief executive officer Ester Kali said in a recent circular to staff. Kali said the company’s pandemic management policy and its strict protocols aimed to protect the well-being and safety of employees, customers and stakeholders.

The full policy will be shared with all employees later this month. “Non-adherence to the policy and protocols will not be taken lightly and will likely add to serious consequences for employees who do not comply,” Kali said.
